I used to play on Turalyon, Soulbreaker, lvl 60 SM/Ruin Orc Warlock, Nice Guys guild. I fought Niar thousands of times when he was ganging horde in WG with Rasta and Twitty to rank to Grand Marshall and we were blasting Allies with Daggy’s premade group. Niar was an absolute beast, his timing and creativity were top notch (but I never finished in FTP series luckily and I get much pride from it 😂)

it's impossible to understate how much the grand marshal gear imporoved this guy's play. not to say he wasn't good, but I will with absolute certainty say that you had to have 20 hours a day to pvp in order to get the gear and once you had that, nothing else mattered. you could be mediocre and slay multiple people at the same time.

Back in the days when pvp was REAL fun. RIP wow.

Looking back, holy fuck people played so poorly. e.g. the pala+mage, the pala diden't heal the mage at all, but opted to autoattack the rogue instead.
